Ordering information

Please review the information below on forms of payment, sales tax, purchase orders, fees for international orders, and standard shipping methods. We have just implemented a secure web ordering system for purchasing many of the items on the site. This can be used for purchases by credit card or PayPal, using our standard shipping methods. For other forms of payment or for other shipping arrangements please contact NightSea by telephone, e-mail, or fax (see information above) to place your order.

Not all of the items on the site can be purchased through the online store. If an item does not have an ADD TO CART button next to it please contact NightSea to place the order. As we move forward more items will be available for online purchase.

Check - typically used only for payment of domestic purchase orders

Sales tax

Sales tax will only be charged on purchases by customers in Massachusetts. If you are a non-taxable organization in Massachusetts please do not use the checkout cart - please contact NightSea directly to place your order.

Purchase orders

We accept purchase orders from non-profit research and educational institutions, and from some business entities. Please fax a copy of the PO on institutional letterhead to 781 791-9519.

On the PO please provide the e-mail address and/or telephone number of a contact person in case we need to communicate with you about the order.

Payment terms - Net 30, by check or wire transfer

Acceptance of PO may be subject to credit verification.

Fees - international orders

Because of the extra costs associated with international orders one or more fees may apply:

   Shipping documentation preparation fee - US$15

   Wire transfer or check fee - US$25 to offset bank processing charges (waived for orders over US$500)

   Any customs duties or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient

Unless otherwise instructed we ship as follows:

   Domestic (other than Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO and US Territories) - UPS GROUND

   Domestic (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO and US Territories) - PRIORITY MAIL

   International - US MAIL EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL

We can also ship overseas or domestic with other UPS methods, FedEx or DHL. If you require faster delivery or want us to use your shipping account number please contact NightSea by telephone or e-mail to make arrangements.
