See and photograph fluorescence underwater - for sport, science, and commercial divers

Check out what fluoresces underwater and see lots of photographs!

SPORT DIVERS - equipment that lets you SEE and PHOTOGRAPH fluorescence underwater.

"Our group was so blown away by the NightSea filters that they wanted to forego the local nightlife for the rest of the week and night dive instead."
Stuart Westmorland, Fathoms #17, 2006

SCIENCE DIVERS - you'll want to SEE and PHOTOGRAPH fluorescence just like the sport divers, but we have also developed equipment especially for underwater science applications, especially coral recruitment research (finding juvenile corals - even newly settled larvae - on natural surfaces or settlement tiles) - a new light for finding fluorescing corals in the daytime, a modular underwater magnifier and fluorescent scale bars. You may also want the barrier filters in glasses form for use in the laboratory or the classroom.

Besides coral recruitment, scientists are using NightSea equipment to study the ecology of coral fluorescence and to search for novel fluorescent proteins. Another possible but so far understudied application is automated mapping of what's on benthic surfaces (including chlorophyll in benthic microalgae).

There are already almost 200 research and educational institutions worldwide using NightSea gear for a variety of applications, both above and below water.

COMMERCIAL DIVERS - see fluorescent dyes for finding pipeline leaks and other applications! NightSea's blue light fluorescence technology is much smaller and less expensive than available underwater ultraviolet lights, and works just as well. Field proven. NEW - high intensity light for underwater fluorescent mag particle inspection (NDT).
